An iconic one of them is their annual Dime Glory Challenge. Now in the fourth year, this is a skate contest that is second to none. The list of heavyweight pro skateboarders participates a lot, make it the best contest of the year.
Owner of Dime Antoine Asselin and Phil Lavoie once explained why they created sneakers Dime – “Our goal is to skate. Anything to keep us skateboarding. That's what we want to do. I will never be a professional skateboarder, so I might as well make something”.
Quartersnacks describes Dime as “Brand, tim, a series of videos, something?”
Well 'something’ it turned out really good. Dime creates timeless skate pieces like hoodies and longsleeves, but they also produce fleece pullover jackets and puffy jackets these days.

Dime x Vans Wayvee “Evening Blue” and “Egret
a Vans shoes which is the same part of the past, present and future, Wayvee offers high-end skateboarding performance and lots of Dime's signature Montreal flair on two familiar colorways: “Evening Blue” and “Egret.”
Although the Wayvee's sturdy upper may remind us of the classic '90s skate image and ’00-an, it explodes into the future by its see-through TPE mesh quarters and toebox surrounded by stretchy suede. “Evening Blue” features this panel in a dark navy, while “Egret” offers a more monochromatic look that blends panels into the entire shoe.
Branding handled by Dime spellouts on the heel, insole and outsole, co-branded hits on the tongue and Vans' signature Jazz Stripe this quarter. Both pairs also feature Dime's signature yellow hue on the midsole and insole rubber badge. From a performance point of view, Wayvee uses a DURACAP toe cap designed to handle the wear and tear of the sandal trick, LuxeLiner comfortable sockliner, and a vulcanized Wafflecup outsole for the same flex and board feel.
Below are the two colorway Dime x Vans Wayvee which will be released via the Vans web store on 24 July 2021.
